With strong passion and resilient confidence, from Excel spreadsheet to today’s integrated platform, we are only at the beginning.
Following the official registration of the Pronostici Naturali trademark , we consider the steps that led to the platform’s evolution as milestones.
The new version, online from 2024/25, is the result of a long and arduous journey, which we have undertaken with strong determination to overcome obstacles, unforeseen events, and the complexities of the sector, and without paying attention to superficial criticism and rhetoric.
A special thanks goes to those who appreciated our work, one of the most useful sources of motivation for carrying the platform forward in these first years.
THE PRIMORDIAL BOARD.
The first of our milestones originates, for a change, from an Excel spreadsheet I have, however, used privately for a number of years. A kind of scoreboard operated entirely by hand. Large and repeated copy and paste, some formulas.
“I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m doing it well,” one might say to quote Silvano the magician of Milan. I didn’t know exactly but the path I took inspired me and I pursued it, with confidence but also objective severity in looking at the numbers.
THE FIRST VERSION OF NATURAL PREDICTIONS, FREE.
The 2019/20 season saw the official debut of the first release publish Natural Predictions. Honestly, to this day I think I could not reconstruct the round I had set up.
From Excel spreadsheets to normalized CSV files to be uploaded to the Wix CMS, where I had mapped a kind of database that eventually showed on the site the first scoreboard worthy of the name.
The joy of seeing all the data and matches online It was so big that it compensates me for the long manual work required to upload every blessed matchday of the championship. Given the level that I still considered unprofessional (by my standards), I thought it right to offer free and without advertising , this first version of the platform.
At this time I also activated the YouTube video channel and other social media.
THE SECOND RELEASE WITH DATA INTEGRATION.
In December 2020, the second release finally arrived, integrating football league data. This was a crucial step that allowed me to focus more on analysis and content.
This version, with the updating of some features and various improvements over the years, is what made us known and appreciated up to the 2023/24 season.
Also coming in 2020 is the first publication of the book-manual on Natural Predictions.
2024/25 SEASON, THE LEAP IN QUALITY OF THE NEW VERSION.
Since the end of the 2023/24 season, we’ve been working on a new version of the platform, with a host of new features and a significant change of pace.
New for real, redone from the ground up in every respect: technology, user experience, interface, usability, functionality, statistics.
Despite a delay we are finally online with a first beta version, which can already be used in conjunction with the current one.
Thanks to a more structured team , we are excited to launch the new platform, which we have tried to tell you about in the sections of this site and which we will constantly complete and improve .
This release represents the most important milestone, because it is a new starting point, a solid and scalable base, a more useful and, in some ways, even unique tool in some aspects and functionalities.
THE NEXT STEP.
We have yet to finish and are already thinking about the next step! That surely includes listening to your feedback and the implementation of numerous micro updates, small aspects and details that make a difference in the experience of using the platform.
And we already have other interesting ideas to evaluate, in the meantime, enjoy each season and follow the updates page to learn about the implementation status of upcoming features.
