BIG LITTLE DREAMS BECOME MILESTONES.

After the official registration of the trademark Natural Predictions, we consider the milestones that led to the evolution of the platform as milestones.
The 2024/25 version is the result of a long and arduous journey, which we agreed to live with strong determination in overcoming obstacles, unforeseen events, industry complexities, and regardless of criticism superficial and rhetoric.

A thanks certainly goes to those who appreciated our work, one of the sources of motivation most helpful in moving the platform forward in these early years.

The primordial board.
The first of our milestones originates, for a change, from an Excel spreadsheet I have, however, used privately for a number of years. A kind of scoreboard operated entirely by hand. Grandi e ripetuti copia e incolla, qualche formula.

“I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m doing it well,” one might say to quote Silvano the magician of Milan. I didn’t know exactly but the path I took inspired me and I pursued it, with confidence but also objective severity in looking at the numbers.

The first version of Natural Predictions, for free.
In the 2019/20 season there was the official debut of the first release publish Natural Predictions. Honestly, to this day I think I could not reconstruct the round I had set up.

From Excel spreadsheets to normalized CSV files to be uploaded to the Wix CMS, where I had mapped a kind of database that eventually showed on the site the first scoreboard worthy of the name.

The joy of seeing all the data and matches online was so great that it rewarded me for the long manual labor required to upload every blessed day of the championship.

Given the level I still considered unprofessional (by my standards), I found it fair to offer for free and without advertising, this first version of the platform.

At this time I also activated the YouTube video channel and other social media.

The second release with data integration.
In December 2020, the second release with the integration of the football data of the leagues, a key step that allowed me to focus more on aspects of analysis and content.

This version, with the updating of some features and various improvements over the years, is what made us known and appreciated up to the 2023/24 season.

Also coming in 2020 is the first publication of the book-manual on Natural Predictions.

Season 2024/25, the quantum leap of the new version.
Since the end of the 2023/24 season, we have been working on making a new version of the platform, with lots of new features, a clear change of pace.

New for real, redone from the ground up in every respect: technology, user experience, interface, usability, functionality, statistics.

Despite a delay we are finally online with a first beta version, which can already be used in conjunction with the current one.

Thanks to a team more structured we are excited to launch the new platform, which we have tried to tell you about in the sections of this site and which we will constantly go on complete and improve.

This release represents the most important milestone, because it is a new starting point, a solid and scalable base, a more useful and, in some ways, even unique tool in some aspects and functionalities.

Next step.
We have yet to finish and are already thinking about the next step! That surely includes listening to your feedback and the implementation of numerous micro updates, small aspects and details that make a difference in the experience of using the platform.

Later we already have other interesting ideas to consider, in the meantime let’s enjoy this new season!
