Do you enjoy live soccer betting? Find out how to take advantage of Natural Predictions even during games.
Toward the end of last season, I started posting on the Instagram profile numerous stories of live betting played during matches.
Before now I had never officially addressed the live betting aspect, I guess a little like everyone else, mainly because of time constraints and little opportunity to be consistently present “here and now” during matches.
For the upcoming 2022/23 season now just around the corner, I want instead to be able to share live betting sessions more often for those who want to enjoy the matches and try to take advantage of Natural Predictions opportunities, even after the whistle blows.
Because, in addition to adding that extra bit of excitement, Natural Predictions prove to be very interesting with live betting, precisely because as we know, even the low odds as the minutes go by tend to rise.
Small preamble: there are bound to be a great many live betting enthusiasts among us who will have already gained experience, and so some of the following concepts, the strictly general ones, about live betting may already be widely known.
After years of betting and Natural Predictions in contact with numerous users I can tell you that there are still plenty of people who, on the contrary, need even some basic information.
That dutiful premise having been made, the juicy part of guidance consists precisely in the application of live betting WITH the board of Natural Predictions. 🚥
I repeat because I would like to make it very clear. In this guide I have tried to collect the main thoughts for those who want to have more information and guidance on how to live betting soccer WITH Natural Predictions. Not like that, about matches in a general sense, no! Only (as always then) on the matches on the scoreboard involving Natural Predictions.
Generic live betting info
Let’s unpack some general information about live soccer betting and then focus on how to take advantage of the scoreboard. Why is betting live? Let’s look at some possible answers.
- Because it is more engaging.
- Because we enjoy a game on TV or the “live goal” more.
- Because the odds are going up.
- Because with various mobile devices it is convenient and quick.
- Because you have time to do longer pre-match analyses.
And you find other valid reasons why live betting is preferred or added as well. What I think makes the difference picks up a bit on the last point, which is the approach and the time you want to devote to the goal.
Approach and time for live betting
As always, it is one thing to watch the game and occasionally place an on-the-fly bet on the result or a bet on goals, and quite another to place yourself in almost trader mode and follow multiple matches to try to seize as many opportunities as possible.
And in fact, I began this article with precisely that in mind. The time (and peace of mind) available allows us to approach live betting with different approaches.
Warning. By this I don’t mean that you can do serious live betting only if you barricade yourself in your house with the blinds down, only with the lights of 10 monitors like Las Vegas , from 12 to 11 p.m. 🤯
However, you may know, for example, that on that Sunday you can devote more attention to live play, like from 2 to 4 p.m.
My job is more than 20 years in front of the PC, so I am already there and I consider it natural and comfortable for me to do live betting from desktop. I think at least a tablet is still better than operating only from mobile, but that is a more subjective aspect.
To get back to the available time frame you can yes, get comfortable and also make your Bet Bunker like mine 😅 with the bookmaker on one side and the Natural Predictions board on the other. And sure, pizza, beer and free burping are absolutely allowed too, of course.
New platform for live betting
For those of you who have been following Natural Predictions for three years now, you know that during the summer break of the leagues, I especially take advantage of it to be able to implement some improvements in the platform.
As a user I noticed that I needed to fix some aspects and add others to facilitate the usability and speed that live betting requires.
I will devote a separate article to all the new features, but in the meantime I anticipate the following, which are small but I think useful and interesting.
- Increased the user “session” time. On the platform now, even from mobile, once you log in you will remain “logged in” for 1 hour even without any interaction. And every time you make a click, touch or simple refresh of the page, the counter will restart from zero. In practice, if you do not voluntarily log out, you will be able to stay logged in to view the live scoreboard and not be disconnected just when it is useful.
- Live results updated every minute. This was an important aspect in my opinion, and I am aware that 1 minute in live betting is still “long” by absurdity and that there are live livescore or slightly less. The reason, for those who don’t know, is very simple: the live results are part of the professional data delivery service that is needed to run everything you can use on the platform and, to date, the minute is the maximum we can deliver under the agreement we signed.
Anyway, in two seasons we have gone from 15 minutes to 1, I think that is already a significant upgrade that I hope is appreciated.
More “additional notes” in Natural Predictions statistics.
This aspect also affects pre-match betting, but I think it can be very useful for live betting as well.
The additional notes are extra useful information concerning the situation of a team when it is considered Natural Prediction.
In addition to those already present that you can see in the previous link, from this year there will also be the following, which are also very useful at the beginning of the championships, which is always a delicate phase of the betting season.
– Since the beginning of the league, never made “Score Goals”
– Since the beginning of the league, never made “Takes Goals From”
– Has not “Takes Goals From” 2 or more games games
– Has not “Takes Goals From” 2 or more games games
– Has not made “Over 1,5” from 2 or more matches
– Does Not “Score Goals” from 2 or more matches
– Since the beginning of the league, never broke the “Does Not Win From” series
– Since the beginning of the league, never broke the “Does Not Draw From” series
– Since the beginning of the league, never broke the “Does Not Lose From” series
Leveraging the scoreboard for live betting
To get practical now, from an operational point of view, what can we do to take advantage of the natural prediction board for live betting?
First of all, the scoreboard lists 19 leagues. That means that’s a lot. Fortunately, in this case, the matches are spread out from about noon until past 11 p.m., so we can manage to follow just as many.
The first aspect I want to emphasize is the type of odds and, consequently, also the type of bubble. Those familiar with the Natural Predictions approach to betting know by now very well that prudence or, if you liked it better, the abatement of risk, is always to be placed at the top of every bet.
I consider interesting all Natural Predictions that are poised to win or lose but have not yet, respectively, scored or conceded a goal.
Often it might happen that, pre-match, this simple mathematical hedging odds are excessively low (less than 1.20), but it might come in handy as the game goes on.
It may be seen as a platitude, but I will repeat to the point of exhaustion: playing simple but mathematically hedging odds (if a team is poised to return to winning ways it will by definition have to score at least 1 goal) on Natural Predictions is objectively more motivating than on a random game.
This concept, similarly adapted on all other mathematical hedging odds on the Natural Predictions waiting on the board that day, are potential opportunities.
Of course, after 1 minute, he can score a goal and then burn out right away, which is precisely why we have 19 leagues available with so many Natural Predictions, especially on weekends.
The cases that can be numerous, I give a few examples to make this important point pragmatic. Of course, one must also give a minimum of account to the challenge one is considering.
Of impossible there is little in soccer, perhaps, however, we avoid going after highly improbable situations, even for the presumed forces on the field. And every decision depends on the ratio of time still available and the value reached by the odds.
- PN waiting to get back to winning ways, it may be that they haven’t scored yet and are losing by 1 goal or maybe more goals. In this case if they were like more than 4 around the 60th better, it might be valid to bet on the flag goal with the opponent now appeased.
- For PNs waiting to get back to winning ways, even underdog teams, even away from home, are interesting as early as the first half. I am not aiming for 2 but for the goal scored.
- I also remember a beautiful case of a match in Portugal between Famalicao and Estoril, both waiting to come back and score 1-0, I live bet Estoril’s goal three times in a row at three different odds, always higher: 2.62 – 3.75 and even 4.50 a real treat! Find the story saved on Instagram.
- Speaking of natural double predictions in the same match, I personally try to choose odds that do not go “against” them but, rather, satisfy both of them.
- PN waiting to draw again losing at home 0-1. Very interesting situation with Somma Goal Draw or another goal in the match, where PN might be able to tie but the opponent also score the second goal.
- On the expectation of ties are also interesting double chances, at a certain minute even at home despite being stronger on paper, when still at 0-0.
- On PN waiting to lose the dynamics of waiting to win apply almost similarly. For the odds obviously even better if it is a stronger and away team. Or even with a double prediction: the PN at home waiting to come back to win and the stronger away team to come back to lose.
What about the other games that are not on the platform that day? As with pre-match betting, I use simple and hedging odds for the live game with respect to the expected outcome from the Natural Predictions in the scoreboard (no corner kicks, penalties, and odds like that).
The board of a classic Saturday or Sunday is more than enough to make a super day of live betting, everything else on the schedule I don’t even consider .
Is it okay to give up betting on low pre-match odds and then play them live? Certainly, but be aware that they may be thwarted in the first 45 minutes. The best odds of course are those that hold out and remain usable for live in the second half.
Speaking of quotas, I know I’m going a bit against the grain, but I had already explained in another video post that they are not my starting point, which are instead the expected types of Natural Predictions.
That said, it is clear that live betting all revolves around odds that change abruptly as the minutes pass. And which then, relentlessly, keep us changing the relationship between amount played, risk and potential winnings.
I never advertise any bookmaker, I’ve often been asked which one I use and I’ve answered but since I’m not interested in betting like “surebet” and the like, I only use one. I have another one that I had made some time ago that I keep spare, just in case the main one has problems.
All it will take is a few live betting sessions to know the “patterns” that one’s bookmaker generates on this or that odds.
Good or bad, for certain situations of forces on the field and ongoing result, more or less will be values that repeat themselves in similar minutiae.
And then you will be able to assess, during the game, how much you can “risk” waiting, before placing a live bet.
What kind of bubble to play live? This is a question I recommend answering subjectively. It is a like saying, how much money do you bet? It depends. It always depends, necessarily, on the volume of play you want to devote, for fun, to betting.
As far as I am concerned I usually use single bets to make doubles, X3, X4 sometimes even a little more and even some systems.
Given the odds of live betting, one is quick to make a system with medium to high values, the criticality is that the results can change before we can place the bet and therefore we have to make changes on the run, maybe even more than once.
For this reason, it might therefore be a good compromise to have a system with medium and high odds from 6 games with 2 errors tolerated. For the SuperMultiple high odds version, one has to be quick in thinking and selection. This is the reason why I recommended at the beginning of the article to use at least one tablet.
How many times have you missed your bet in the last few minutes? Here, now with live betting you can consider even this fraction of the match. You will find that the last 10 minutes, once the live bet is placed, will be very fast! 🤣
Joking aside, the odds will be very good on goals and eventual double chances to be achieved, there is a chance that every now and then, always with respect to the expected Natural Predictions, what is expected will be realized from there to recovery.
I have definitely forgotten some aspect or insight but I have already given quite a bit of information regarding live betting with Natural Predictions. In case I think of anything else, I will update the article.
To conclude, I would like next season to be able to devote more time to share together with other users of the platform, live betting sessions, I might also consider live on the channel YouTube or maybe as a novelty on Twitch (if it were “allowed” to do so). At worst, I’ll see you on the stories on Instagram as I did last season.
For now from the Bet Bunker, on live betting, that’s it! Get ready because by now several leagues have started and in an amen they will start buying the first Natural Predictions on the board!
See you anon!
Stephen
