Another August micro update on the Natural Predictions platform: ranking zones and team positions from previous seasons.

A micro update made again in this month of August in which we released truly many new features, many features.
A small update is intended to improve what’s already on the platform.

It concerns the rankings , both current and past positions , things that we all know but which can always be useful in that package of statistics, especially at the beginning of the championship , when perhaps we don’t know some teams and want to know more, because we need to find some reference for betting analysis, not having so much history at present.

The rankings highlight the relevant areas in different colors, according to the rules of each league, from European Cup spots to playoffs, relegation, and relegation. This is certainly useful in the final stages of the championships, when the final battles for survival or European spots are underway.

Another aspect that I find very interesting and which was already present in the previous version of the platform is the ranking position of the teams in previous seasons .

Because as long as we’re talking about Serie A, we’re all very good, we know everything, but then in reality, when we move on to other championships, doubts and questions begin: but how did this team end up here last season, what position did it have?
A minimum reference point seems very useful to us for providing more realistic football analysis. Currently, the platform contains two or three years’ worth of data, but while we could add more, the most recent ones are obviously the ones we’re most interested in.

For example, in the 2024/25 season Nottingham Forest achieved 33 more points than in 2023/24 and this is a very interesting thing to know when looking deeper into other leagues.

Then there are cases where there’s no data at the moment because they’ve been promoted to higher leagues after a long time or for the first time . We’d have to go back too far in time, but we’ll see if we can add this aspect.

And then there’s something that’s right and obviously interesting: the leap from one league to another. For example, Almeria, who were relegated to Spain’s Liga Adelante in 2023/24, finished sixth last year, so they’re definitely one of the contenders to return to La Liga.

I especially encourage you, at this early stage of the season, to watch and enjoy discovering and learning about the various leagues, thereby increasing the speed and accuracy of your betting analysis.
