Video tutorial explaining the “Serie Chronology” statistic, what it is and how to use it for your soccer betting predictions.
Series History is one of the new advanced statistics already available in the Beta version of the new platform, useful for analyzing double series in the entire Natural Predictions cycle from a quantity and instances point of view over time.
Series Chronology is one of the first analyses to consider to understand the situation and start evaluating the comparison of the teams in the scheduled match.
Each team, in each day, always presents by definition two results delayed . Delay that can be short or long, one day or many. For example, if the last match a team won, in the next one it will have a draw and a defeat delayed.
Why is Serie Cronologia useful for soccer betting analysis?
Chronology Series shows us several very interesting aspects and insights.
- How many times, in the current championship, has the team found itself in the situation of having a series late and therefore waiting to return to winning, drawing or losing.
- How many times has it managed to interrupt and therefore satisfy the expected series, with a 1, X or 2 sign.
- What percentage of the delay has been met compared to the instances that have already occurred. For example, out of 4 times that the team was waiting to return to winning, 2 times it actually won, so it has a conversion percentage ratio of 50%.
Please note! The Time Series data is absolutely not to be confused with the count of win, draw or loss results. Time Series only considers the team’s results when it is in the condition of expecting win, draw or loss.
In other words, Time Series helps us answer important questions like:
- How many times has a team fallen behind in a WDL series?
- How many times did he interrupt that delay?
- With what success rate ?
The statistic is found in the “Team Stats” section only at match level (not league level) and by default shows home and away data, in addition to totals.
The top sorts teams by conversion percentage, where:
- W represents “No Win” (does not win from)
- D represents “No Draw” (does not draw from),
- L stands for “No Lose”.
The W with only the outline represents delays from 1 to 4 days, while the W with solid green color shows delays from 5 days onwards.
On the left we find the statistics of the home team and those of its previous opponents . On the right the same information for the away team.
In the lower part, the Chronology Series shows the day-by-day detail of the Natural Predictions satisfied, where it is also possible to find the number of days of waiting for the delay and obviously the Win, Draw, Lost typology.
The team logo is useful to make it easier to read the data, furthermore there is a tooltip , on the day number, which shows the result and teams of the match.
Series Chronology is a very interesting football betting statistic for the phenomenon of Natural Predictions because it quickly highlights the common trends between the teams in the scheduled match and this gives the data greater value and reliability .
Here are some practical examples that this statistic offers.
- If a team often draws and allows its opponent to draw.
- If a team wins and makes its opponent lose frequently.
- If a team has reversed its own or another team’s trend.
- Whether and how often a team satisfies 1 or 2 delays simultaneously, its own and its opponent’s.
- On the contrary, if it is not satisfactory, because it often gets the same result as the previous match.
Like all football statistics, it is not the only one to evaluate and it is not mandatory that it must necessarily show particular tendencies, the ability to train with experience consists in recognizing the most interesting situations , to combine with other data and statistics related to the match in question.
The goal of the Natural Predictions platform is to provide football and betting enthusiasts with many resources and useful features for analysis and predictions based more on objective data and in line with the spontaneous performance of teams and their respective championships.
